We’re here to help you make informed decisions on transportation energy.
Today, more than ever, there is a strong need for industry leaders and policy makers to have access to objective, data-centric analysis and to connect with and learn from all transportation sectors. By bringing together the most diverse group of market stakeholders, the Transportation Energy Institute provides a broad perspective about the future of energy, decarbonization and transportation not available anywhere else.
Who we are.
We are a non-profit, non-advocacy research organization. For over 10 years, we have focused on how to reduce emissions effectively and responsibly from transportation while preserving access to affordable and reliable energy for all consumers and industry sectors.
Our organization is led by a Board of Advisors comprised of more than 60 companies. Because we do not advocate, we have created a community of stakeholders representing oil companies, biofuels producers, engine and vehicle manufacturers, EV equipment providers, natural gas and hydrogen organizations, retailers, national lab engineers, public health organizations, fleet operators, etc.
What we do.
We dispense unbiased research, with no agenda towards advocacy or politics. Our research is meant to inform and educate, with practical information and data to help federal, state and local policy makers, transportation industry leaders and consumers make smart decisions.
All research is subject to peer review by this diverse leadership group to ensure it is fact based. Research topics focus on transportation energy issues ranging the full spectrum and are geared to foster greater discussion about options to improve the market, from an environmental as well as a business and consumer perspective.
We’re here to help you.
